Mandaadi box office day 3: The Soori led sports drama, Mandaadi, has seen a surge in collections, on the third day of its theatrical run. The film is directed by Mathimaaran Pugazhendhi in his sophomore directorial venture, after Selfie (2022).

According to box office tracker Sacnilk, Mandaadi has collected Rs 9.25 crores (nett) on day 3, at the Indian box office. It collected RS 4.85 crores (nett) on day 1, and Rs 6.70 crores (nett) on day 2. In total, the film has collected Rs 24.43 crores (gross) and Rs 20.80 crores (nett) after three days, at the Indian box office.

The cast of the film also includes Suhas (in his Tamil film debut), Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Mithun Jai Shankar, Krish Hassan, Ravindra Vijay, Bala Saravanan, Ramachandran Durairaj, and Aadukalam Naren, among others.

Mandaadi follows the story of Muthukali (Soori), who is forced to return to his native coastal village, after 20 years in exile, to save the life of his friend's son, from brother-in-arms turned for, Sattapuli (Suhas).

CE's review of the film reads, "For any sports drama, the job is half done if the makers craft the sporting sequences well. Mandaadi wins big in this aspect for multiple reasons. The way the watersport was captured was breathtaking, and so were the stunts accompanying it. What was also refreshing is the lack of familiarity with the game. The rules of the sport, the ways chances of either team could be spoiled, and the possibility of serious injuries and loss of life were both food for thought and delivered cinematic highs."
