Legend Saravanan's latest film Leader was released in theatres on April 3 to positive reviews from audiences and critics. While it has been almost a month since the film hit the big screens, the Durai Senthilkumar directorial isn't looking at making its OTT premiere anytime soon.

The director recently shared a poster of the latest action drama and captioned it, "Successful 4th week for Leader." Reports circulating on the internet indicate that the film's theatrical run has been extended to capitalise on the box office revenue.

While it was earlier speculated that Leader would hit OTT platform Prime Video on May 1, no official announcement regarding the same has been made. It looks like the film will continue running in theatres for a week or two before making its OTT premiere. So, audiences can expect Leader to release on the platform by mid-May.
