Actor Hansika Motwani has seperated from her husband, Sohael Khaturiya, after being married for four years. The Bandra Family Court granted the pair a divorce, which was mutually agreed upon.
Reports suggest that it was Hansika who filed the initial petition for the divorce. Further, it is also reported that she hasn't placed any demands for alimony, or a share of her ex-husband's financial holdings. After certain differences of opinion between the couple, reports suggest that Hansika and Sohael have been living seperately, since 2024.
Hansika and Sohael got married on December 4, 2022, in a ceremony in Jaipur. Sohael is a businessman by profession.
After beginning her career as a child actor, Hansika went on to star in Desamuduru (2007) and Aap Kaa Surroor (2008). She made her Tamil debut with the Dhanush-starrer Mappillai (2011). She also starred in Tamil films like Engeyum Kadhal (2011), Velayudham (2011), Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012), Singam II (2013), Biryani (2013). Her last film appearance was the 2024 film Guardian.
