This Tuesday marks Suraj Venjaramoodu's birthday. On the special occasion, producer Kannan Ravi shared a new poster for their next film, Texla, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. In the poster, a child can be seen kissing Suraj on his cheek. "To our man. To the story behind it all. To the one who continues to inspire with every performance. Wishing our beloved Suraj Venjaramoodu sir a year filled with love, happiness, and many more milestones. Here’s to celebrating you today and always," the producer shared.

In another post, they shared an image of the actor and wrote, "Wishing the powerhouse of a talent and the amazing Suraj Venjaramoodu sir a wonderful birthday and an illustrious year ahead."

Texla also stars Jai in an important role. It brings Aishwarya Rajinikanth back together with music director Yuvan Shankar Raja after their collaboration on 2015's Vai Raja Vai.

Reportedly, Texla is set in a village and explores the theme of childhood. When they announced the title in the recent past, the makers suggested that the film will make the audience nostalgic with its exploration of the magic of childhood.

Texla is produced by Kannan Ravi through his KRG Group banner, known for backing the Jiiva starrer Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, and has Deepak Ravi as a co-producer. It marks the ninth production venture of KRG Productions. On the technical front, the film also has cinematographer Vishnu Rangasamy, stunt director Anl Arasu, and editor GK Prasanna.

The upcoming film brings Aishwarya Rajinikanth back to director after 2024's Lal Salaam. Besides Tamil, it is expected to release in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Coming back to Suraj, the actor recently made an impression in Tamil cinema with roles in films such as Veera Dheera Sooran, Youth, and Kara. His upcoming films include Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson.
