About a year ago, YouTuber and influencer-turned-actor Sathish Kumar revealed that he would star in a film titled The Tat2, written and directed by Venu Dhevaraj. On Thursday, Sathish revealed that Aju Varghese is also part of the project. Sharing a poster featuring him with Aju, the actor expressed his gratitude to the latter and congratulated him on his 16-year-long journey in cinema.

"In today’s film industry, surviving for even two or three years is a challenge. But completing 16 incredible years and continuing to grow stronger is a true testament to your hard work, passion, and exceptional talent Aju Varghese," Sathish wrote.

He added, "Ajuetta, love you so much! Having you as a part of The Tat2 Movie means the world to us. Your presence has elevated this film to another level, and our entire team is genuinely grateful and excited to have you on this journey. Here’s to an even stronger friendship and many more films together. This is just the beginning."

There is an element of crime to The Tat2, judging by the latest poster that features Aju's character reading a book about murder and a piece of text that says, "Crime scene do not cross". The makers of the film are yet to reveal plot specifics, but the poster and the presence of Aju Varghese hints at a detective film with an element of comedy. The makers called it "a complete entertainer" that is "filled with entertainment, emotions, and pure excitement!"

The upcoming film also stars Kuhasini Ganaseggaran as the female lead. On the technical front, it has cinematographer Avinash Subrayan, composer Aswin Krishna, and editor Elayaraja Sekar. The film is produced by Renju and Sanju, and it has Raju Kanagaraj as a co-producer. The production banner for it is PopUp Films.

Aju Varghese has made his debut with a role in director Ram's Paranthu Po and played a cameo in the Suriya starrer Karuppu. Up next, he is set to make his debut in Kannada with a role in Disco Rani.
