Actor Aju Varghese continues to express his gratitude to director Ram for giving him the opportunity to make his Tamil debut with Paranthu Po. In an earlier interview with Cinema Express, Aju cited Ram as the reason for signing up for the film. A while ago, he shared some pictures with his Paranthu Po co-star Shiva on Instagram and wrote, "To debut in Tamil-industry, an industry with such legacy of great writers, directors and actors like how we have in Malayalam was indeed an inner self pride. Getting an address of Ram sir on your debut was priceless, as I know how valuable it is, as i could relate to my career in Malayalam, as I had the address of Vineeth Sreenivasan."
In the interaction with CE, he disclosed that his character in the film faces a situation that he has never experienced in his career. "Not everyone may praise the character, but it is important for the film to be complete," said Aju Varghese. In the latest post, he shared, "I play a small 3-4 minutes role, but it is something very unique. For me, if I compare to cricket it’s all about your team winning than your favorite player scoring a century. So it’s all about Ram sir and his victory. I'm grateful."
Aju also touched upon the unanimous appreciation that the film has been receiving since its Friday release. "I'm happy as the movie is loved by all," he wrote.
Paranthu Po also stars child actor Mitul Ryan and Grace Antony in her Tamil debut. Speaking to CE, Aju disclosed that Ram's Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai star Nivin Pauly referred him and Grace for the respective roles in Paranthu Po. "He is our casting director," said Aju.
