Actor-politician Khushbu Sundar has strongly condemned online trolls targeting her daughters, Avantika and Anandita, saying she will not stay silent while her family is subjected to personal attacks. Her statement was backed by actor Radikaa Sarathkumar, who also spoke out against online bullying.

Sharing a family photograph on X, Khushbu reflected on the values with which she and her husband, actor-filmmaker Sundar C, raised their children. She said her daughters had never misused their parents' celebrity status and that the family had built its life through hard work despite facing setbacks along the way.

Addressing those making derogatory remarks about her daughters, Khushbu wrote that she would not allow anyone to insult them for "two-minute cheap publicity." While she admitted she was tempted to respond in the same language as the trolls, she said she chose not to out of respect for her upbringing. "Do not think me being quiet means I am fine with your dirty pathetic mindset," she wrote.

Warning those who target her family online, Khushbu added, "Never mess with a mother," likening herself to "a wounded tiger" protecting her cubs. She also took aim at content creators who, according to her, speak about celebrities merely to gain views and followers.

Concluding her note, Khushbu declared, "Enough is enough," urging women to stand up for themselves and not tolerate disrespect. She also thanked Radhika Sarathkumar for standing by her "as a friend and family".

Echoing Khushbu's sentiments, Radhika shared a picture with the family and wrote, "Freedom of speech is not freedom to bully. Criticism is not cruelty. Humour is not humiliation. " Calling the mockery of a public figure's children "cowardice", she added that a person's appearance should never be treated as a measure of worth and condemned such behaviour unequivocally.

The posts come weeks after Anandita opened up about enduring online abuse since childhood. Speaking on a podcast, she said one of the most common insults directed at her recently was being compared to a transgender person. Rejecting the remark as both hurtful and prejudiced, she pointed out that such comments were not only offensive to her but also reflected ignorance and transphobia.

Anandita, 23, previously worked on Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Thug Life. She recently made her debut as a creative producer with Double Occupancy and is currently working on Hiphop Tamizha Adhi's Meesaya Murukku 2.
