Singer Dhee’s independent song ‘Vari Vari’ was released on April 24. With lyrics by Vivek and produced by Santhosh Narayanan, the song received 52,000 views on YouTube. The singer described the song on YouTube as, ''‘Vari Vari’ is about someone or something that’s gone and isn’t around anymore, something that’s been lost. By the end, it feels like the whole song is this search for yourself that you might’ve lost along the way, like your inner child.'' Meanwhile, actor Suriya appeared in a video on social media and supported the song.

In a recent conversation with Galatta Plus, Dhee expressed her thoughts on the comparison with Chinmayi Sripaada, which happened after the Thug Life audio launch. Dhee recalled, “When I first heard her version, I loved it and thought she sounded amazing. I never felt that it was bad; in fact, I am honoured to even be compared to Chinmayi Sripaada for the 'Muththa Mazhai' song. In art, it is okay for people to have different opinions and love things in their own way. That subjectivity is fine. It only becomes a problem when people try to pit one person against the other. But I didn't feel that way at all. Rather, I was just happy to be part of the song and the conversation."

Furthermore, the singer said that as a fan of both AR Rahman and Chinmayi, hearing Chinmayi's version made her feel very nostalgic. She said, "It felt comforting and 'right' because it’s the kind of music I grew up with. While I loved her version as a listener, my own version was a very different experience for me. Looking back, I am so grateful that Rahman even considered me for that style of music."

During the same conversation, Dhee was asked about the recent clash between Santhosh Narayanan and Arivu over royalties and credit for the track 'Enjoy Enjaami'. The singer said that we all should stand together in this rather than fighting. She explained, "The meaning of the song 'Enjoy Enjaami' is that we all have to be united. Santhosh Narayanan, Arivu, and I have received love and support for the song, and I feel very grateful for that. Obviously, we had differences of opinion, but in the song, I’ve sung ‘vaango vaango onnaagi’, so I think we should always just stand together in this rather than fighting.”
