Actor Pradeep Ranganathan's film Love Insurance Kompany, directed by Vignesh Shivan, is set to hit theatres on April 10, Friday. Ahead of its release, Ashwath Marimuthu, who directed Pradeep's recent film Dragon, conveyed his best wishes to the film and the actor.
Taking to X, Ashwath wrote, "Wishing for a blockbuster for LIK that is releasing tomorrow. Dear Pradeep Ranganathan, you have worked hard for your every film and let your success streak continue."
In his response, Pradeep expressed his gratitude to his Dragon director. "Thank You so much bro," the actor wrote while tagging the filmmaker in his post.
For the unversed, Dude, directed by Keerthiswaran, marked a third successive 100-crore-grosser in the actor's career. Earlier, both Love Today and Dragon crossed the milestone. This is what Ashwath Marimuthu alluded to when he mentioned Pradeep's "success streak" in the industry so far.
Besides Pradeep, Love Insurance Kompany also stars SJ Suryah, Krithi Shetty, Gouri Kishan, Sriman, and Yogi Babu, among others. The film's plot revolves around a future where a younger (Pradeep) tries to prove that no application can replace the human connection involved in love and romance. Also known as LIK, the film blends elements of fantasy, science-fiction, romance, and comedy.
Coming back to Ashwath Marimuthu, the filmmaker recently hinted at a sequel to Dragon.
