Actor-director Raghava Lawrence, known for his philanthropical work, had recently launched a new initiative called Kanmani Annadhana Virundhu in the name of his mother, through which he intended to serve food that the rich ate to poor children. Under the same initiative, he had extended kindness to people suffering from down syndrome, serving them special meals.
In a video posted on his X handle, he was seen serving food to those affected from the syndrome. He highlighted that food shouldn't be a privilege, but "should be a joy that brings smiles to every heart."
"This time it was so special to serve my brothers with Down Syndrome. Seeing their happiness while they enjoyed the varieties of food filled my heart with gratitude and love. With all your blessings and support, I will continue to serve others," he wrote. The actor has been helping the poor and the underprivileged through his movement called 'Maatram' where he has been offering support those in need in many ways including building restrooms in government schools, extending financial help for children's education, buying tractors to farmers and more.
Last seen in Jigarthanda Double X, Raghava Lawrence is currently awaiting the release of Bullet, which stars the actor's brother Elviin in a lead role. He also has the much-awaited Benz, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, Kanchana 4, Adhigaram, Kala Bhairava, and Hunter in the pipeline.
