As actor Samyuktha celebrates her 29th birthday on Thursday, the makers of Raghava Lawrence's upcoming action film Benz, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, announced her inclusion in the film's cast.
This is the latest update from the team, months after announcing Nivin Pauly as the antagonist in the film. We had earlier reported that Benz completed the first schedule shoot in June.
Produced by Lokesh Kanagaraj under the G Squad banner, this film is the latest addition to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, following Leo, with the other films in the franchise being Kaithi and Vikram.
Joining Lokesh are Sudhan Sundaram (Passion Studios) and Jagadish Palanisamy (The Route), with Pradeep Boopathi as the creative producer. The technical crew of the film includes Goutham George as the cinematographer, Philomin Raj as the editor, and Jacki as the art director. This film marks the feature debut of music composer Sai Abhyankkar, who is becoming one of the busiest music composers in Kollywood.
With Samyuktha's last film being Love Me (2024), in a cameo appearance, her previous full-fledged role was in Devil: The British Secret Agent. Her upcoming films include Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, Maharagni: Queen of Queens, Swayambhu, Ram, Naari Naari Naduma Murari, and the untitled Vijay Sethupathi-Puri Jagannadh film.
