Vishnu Vishal is currently on a promotional spree for is upcoming film Aaryan, which hits theatres on October 31. The actor had been opening up about his life, career and facing multiple low points, where many films were dropped after Ratsasan. The actor, last seen in a full fledged role in Rajikanth-Vikranth's Lal Salaam (2024), also shared that he missed playing a key role in Dhanush's Raayan (2024), the actor's sophomore directorial.

In a recent interview, the actor-producer revealed that he was cast to play Sundeep Kishan's role in the action thriller. "But due to some reasons, I couldn't work in it. I had scheduling conflicts. I told him that I really wanted to do the role. At that time, the character was different from how you saw it on screen. I suggested a few details to the character. I thought he wouldn't change the story, but he was gracious and obliged to my suggestions," he shared.

He further added, "I was surprised. During the time, Gatta Kushthi had not been released. I wanted to work on Raayan after Gatta Kusthi and Aaryan, but he couldn't wait. I requested him 2-3 months time, but he told me that he couldn't push the script any further. I apologised and he promised that we will collaborate in the future."

Vishnu Vishal said he admires Dhanush's passion and dedication that he gives to every project he works on. "I spent four to five hours with Dhanush. I was extremely happy. He spoke to me about his journey which was very inspiring for me. It was hard-hitting," he noted.

The actor's upcoming film Aaryan, directed by Praveen K, promises to be a gripping thriller where Vishnu Vishal dons the cop role again to nab a serial killer like his role in Ratsasan. But this time, there's a twist: The killer likes to challenge the cops. He discloses the name of the victim he is set to kill, exactly one hour before the crime is to take place. The cops realise that this is just the beginning of his killing spree and spring into action.

Vishnu Vishal is joined by actors Shraddha Srinath, Maanasa Choudhary, and Selvaraghavan in prominent roles in Aaryan. The film's technical crew comprises Harish Kannan as cinematographer, Ghibran as composer and editor San Lokesh. Apart from Tamil, the film is set to release in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Produced by Vishnu Vishal's Vishnu Vishal Studioz, Aaryan is penned by the actor's FIR collaborator Manu Anand.
