Veteran actor and filmmaker Revathy has hinted at an exciting new project that brings together a team of familiar faces, namely, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Academy Award-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty, and filmmaker Shankar Ramakrishnan.

Revathy shared a series of photos from a dubbing studio on Instagram, expressing her joy over reuniting with her long-time friends for work. “There are times we get to work with friends, turning work into absolute pleasure… with @par_vathy, @resulpookutty and Shankar Ramakrishnan… coming up soon,” she captioned the post. While she kept further details under wraps, the images have already sparked curiosity among fans.

Parvathy, who continues to make bold career choices, is currently gearing up for several notable projects. The National Award-winning actor is set to headline Don Palathara’s next film, which also features acclaimed filmmaker-actor Dileesh Pothan. The yet-to-be-titled film marks Parvathy’s first collaboration with both Palathara and Pothan. Reportedly an emotionally charged drama, the film will be shot extensively across Kerala and is expected to go on floors soon.

This development follows Parvathy’s recent buzzworthy announcements, including her role in Storm, Hrithik Roshan’s debut production venture, and her reunion with director Bejoy Nambiar 13 years after Maryan.

As for Revathy, the celebrated actor-filmmaker, who has received three National Film Awards and multiple state honours, will soon be seen in Jana Nayagan, a high-profile political action drama starring Vijay, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol. The film, scheduled for release on January 9, 2026, is expected to be Vijay’s final appearance before stepping into politics and marks KVN Productions’ first Tamil-language venture.
