Actor Parvathy Thiruvothu is known for her intense and raw performances in films, but do you know that she can also sing? The other day, the actor surprised many of her fans and followers with a video where she performs a song with a guitar in hand. Before the song, which she later revealed to be Osho Jain's 'Dekha Hi Nahi', even starts, Parvathy acknowledges her lack of ability in playing the instrument and in singing as a profession. However, the actor goes on to say that while she had heard the song before, she listened to it from a new perspective about "love and loss" over the last few days. "It has been a chokehold ever since," she says about the song before revealing that it made her search on YouTube for instructions on how to play a guitar. In the caption, she says, "Only, this song travelled through every pain point and reminded me that it's best to have loved than not. Here is celebrating that."
She also thanked artist Osho Jain for the song before performing it. Many netizens, including Parvathy's colleagues and contemporaries in Malayalam cinema, are in awe of her talents as a singer. Sound designer and music producer, Shuaib Kakkil commented under the post and suggested that he is considering Parvathy Thiruvothu as a "guitarist to do the stage program". On the other hand, actor and TV host Mini Mathur wrote, "What is it that you can't do... you absolute goddess????" Meanwhile, actor Abhirami wrote, "You go girl!! So much soul!"
