After 'Arena', the second single from Netflix's Test, titled 'Hope', is set to be released online by composer Anirudh, on March 20. The score for Test is composed by Shakthisree Gopalan, who has lent her vocals for the single.
The lyrics for 'Hope' are written by Rajesh Sridhar in Tamil, Kunwar Juneja in Hindi, Rambabu Gosala in Telugu, Santhosh Varma in Malayalam, and Hridaya Shiva in Kannada.
Anirudh and Shakthisree have collaborated on several of Anirudh's film compositions for Velaikkaran, Vedalam, Kaaki Sattai, and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, with the latest being 'Villain Yaaru' from Leo.
Earlier, promos were released for the characters of Siddharth, Madhavan, and Nayantara. Former Indian Cricketer released the promo for Siddarth's character Arjun. Actor Suriya released the promo for Madhavan's character Saravanan. Nayantara's character Kumudha also had a promo released online. Meera Jasmine and Nassar also star in Test.
The film is directed by Sashikanth of YNOT Studios, who produces along with Chakravarthy Ramachandra. On the technical side, Viraj Sinh Gohil is the cinematographer, and TS Suresh is the editor. Madhusudhan and Shwetha Sabu Cyril are the production designers, with Dinesh Subbarayan handling stunts.
Test is set to premiere on Netflix on April 4.
