Actor Suriya has launched Madhavan's character teaser from the latter's upcoming film Test on Saturday. Suriya praised Madhavan, saying that right from Aayutha Ezhuthu to Test, he has been giving his best in everything. It is worth noting the duo shared screenspace in Maniratnam's 2004 film Aayutha Ezhuthu, which also starred Siddharth.

Madhavan, who plays Saravanan in the film, is depicted as a person struggling at his workplace for recognition. His ambitious construction projects, which he says will change the nation, go through delays due to red tape and bureaucracy.

Earlier, the character teasers of Siddharth and Nayanthara were unveiled. In addition to Siddharth, Madhavan, and Nayanthara, the film stars Meera Jasmine in a prominent role.

Producer Sashikanth of the YNOT Studios turns a director with Test, which he produces along with Chakravarthy Ramachandra. On the technical side, TS Suresh handles editing, while Viraj Sinh Gohil is the director of cinematography. Singer Shakthishree Gopalan turns music director for the film.

Test is set to release on Netflix in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on April 4.
