In a thoughtful gesture and as a mark of their strong friendship, Aamir Khan recently flew down to Hyderabad for the naming ceremony of Vishnu Vishal and Jwala Gutta's newborn baby. He named her Mira and the couple expressed their gratitude to the Bollywood actor for his love towards their family that had culminated to this moment.
While many know that Aamir's friendship with the Ratsasan actor began at an “accidental meetup," a chance encounter that Jwala Gutta had with Aamir at a function. From there, the veteran actor and director gradually became a part of the couple’s inner circle. “He slowly went on to become a close friend of our family within a year,” Vishnu revealed. A photo of the duo being rescued in the aftermath of the 2023 Michaung floods showcased their bond for the first time to the country. But beyond these incidents, Vishnu revealed that the actor went above and beyond to help the couple when they were struggling to conceive.
In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, the actor shared that he and Jwala Gutta had 'almost given up hope' trying to conceive via IVF when Aamir Khan pitched in to help the couple. "He asked us to come to Mumbai and pointed us in the right direction for medical help. He hosted us in his house in Mumbai and Jwala for almost 10 months stayed there and he took care of us," he said, adding, "Aamir sir's mom and sisters too took such good care of Jwala."
When Jwala gave birth in April, Vishnu Vishal invited Aamir Khan to Hyderabad and requested him to name their child. "No words can suffice in thanking Aamir sir. Jwala, Mira and I will always remain forever grateful," he said.
Further, Aamir Khan has also watched Vishnu’s films Ratsasan and FIR and offered warm praise. He had also appreciated Oho Enthan Baby, the upcoming film which stars Vishnu Vishal's cousin Rudra in his debut along with Mithila Palkar. "It is a beautiful film that young boys must watch. There aren't many romantic films where you see the male lead realising his mistakes and making amends for them. I got emotional in the second half," he said in a video address recently.
While there’s been buzz about Vishnu and Aamir collaborating professionally, the former is in no rush. “Actually, I’ve been turning it down, as I want to relish our bond and not let business influence it,” he said. “But sir is keen on making a film with me. So, we might join hands at the right time, for the right script," he said in an interview with Cinema Express.
