The third single from the soundtrack of Vijay-starrer Jana Nayagan, titled 'Chella Magale' has been released by the makers. Anirudh has composed music for the film, with Vijay himself singing 'Chella Magale'.

Vivek has written lyrics for the song, which showcases a father's love to his daughter. A lyric video for the song was released, which features some scenes from the film. They show Vijay dancing along with actor-choreographer Baba Bhaskar, and Vijay with a child actor, playing his daughter.

Vijay's first song as a singer, with Anirudh composing was 'Selfie Pulla' from Kaththi. The actor later sang 'Kutti Story', 'Jolly O Gymkhana', 'Naa Ready' which were very well recieved. Vijay has also lent his vocals for the first single from Jana Nayagan.

H Vinoth has written and directed Jana Nayagan, which is Vijay's last film before he ventures into politics. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Narain, among others. Jana Nayagan is set to release on January 9.
