Third single from Vijay's Jana Nayagan titled 'Chella Magale'

Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the third single from Jana Nayagan is a melody rendered by Vijay himself

On Thursday, the makers of actor Vijay's final film before his full-fledged political stint, Jana Nayagan, announced that the third single will be unveiled a day before the film's audio launch. Titled 'Chella Magale', the song is a melody rendered by actor Vijay himself and will be unveiled on Friday. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Sharing the news on X, the film's co-producer, Jagadish Palanisamy, wrote, "One of my favourite songs from #JanaNayagan, sung by our #ThalapathyVijay na." (sic)

Previously, the makers unveiled the first single, 'Thalapathy Katcheri', and the second single, 'Oru Pere Varalaru'. Vijay and Anirudh sang the former, a dance number, which had lyrics by Arivu. The latter is sung by Anirudh and Vishal Mishra and is penned by Vivek. The film's audio launch is slated to happen in Malaysia on December 27, where the rest of the album will be unveiled.

Helmed by H Vinoth, Jana Nayagan also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mamitha Baiju, and Narain. The film reunites Vijay with Prakash Raj after Varisu, Pooja after Beast, and Gautham Vasudev Menon after Leo.

Venkat K Narayana is producing Jana Nayagan through his label KVN Productions, alongside Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith NK, who serve as co-producers. The film's technical team also includes cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, editor Pradeep E Ragav, and stunt choreographer Anl Arasu.

Jana Nayagan is releasing in theatres on January 9, 2026, ahead of the Pongal festival. The film will open alongside Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi, slated for January 10.
