Director-turned-actor Selvaraghavan is currently busy filming for his next directorial, Mental Manadhil, with GV Prakash in the lead role. Meanwhile, a few days ago, speculations were rife that the Bakasuran actor and his wife, Gitanjali, were heading for a divorce. While the couple are yet to comment on the reports, Selvaraghavan has now taken to X to share a cryptic post about hardships in life.
In Tamil, he wrote, "Suddenly, it will seem like everything is going wrong in life. You will be able to see the betrayal of your near and dear ones. You may rant to God, saying, 'Are you even God? Have you not heard my prayers?' At that juncture of your life, stay silent. Time heals everything. Even the biggest mountain will melt like ice. Everything will fall in place. This is the will of God."
On the acting front, Selvaraghavan recently wrapped dubbing for Manithan Deivamagalam, helmed by Dennis Manjunath. He is also set to star alongside Gautham Ram Karthik in a film helmed by debut director Dhina Raghavan. He was last seen in Aaryan alongside Vishnu Vishal and Shraddha Srinath. He recently made his Malayalam debut with Shane Nigam's Balti.
Mental Manadhil is also bankrolled by GV Prakash under Parallel Universe Production House. The film stars Madhuri Jain as the female lead. Selvaraghavan also has 7G Rainbow Colony 2 in the pipeline on the directorial front. Ravi Krishna, who played the lead role in the original, will reprise his role and will be joined by Anaswara Rajan in the sequel. Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja too will be returning to the franchise. The star-studded cast also features Jayaram, along with Suman Shetty and Sudha, who are also returning to play their roles as Kadhir's father and mother, respectively. Announced a year ago, the makers are yet to drop updates about the progress of the film.
