Selvaraghavan-GV Prakash's Mental Manadhil enters fourth schedule, new BTS pictures revealed

It is well known that GV Prakash is working in a new film Mental Manadhil, directed by Selvaraghavan. The film, which went on floors in December last year, has entered its last leg of shoot. Sharing the news, the actor, who is also composing the music for this new film, teased audiences stating that he is excited for audiences to witness the album of Mental Manadhil.

While GV Prakash has composed music for Selvaraghavan's 2010 directorial Aayirathil Oruvan and 2011 film Mayakkam Enna, he is now set to act for the first time in the filmmaker's upcoming feature. He said after the two films, this new movie's album will be his "most favourite one."

GV Prakash is also bankrolling it under Parallel Universe Production House. The film stars Madhuri Jain as the female lead, alongside what the makers tout as a "talented ensemble cast". However, they are yet to reveal specific details about the rest of the cast in the film and their characters or its plot.

On the technical front, the film also has cinematographer Arun Ramakrishnan, editor Balaji, and art director RK Vijay Murugan. The film marks a return for Selvaraghavan to the full-fledged romance space after 7G Rainbow Colony (2004) and Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule, the 2007 Telugu film remade as Yaaradi Nee Mohini in Tamil.

GV Prakash was last seen in Blackmail as the lead. On the composing front, he recently composed music for Dhanush's Idli Kadai. Up next, he has a huge line-up of films including Parasakthi, Vaadivaasal, Mask, Mandaadi, Suriya 46, Dhanush's D54, and Magudam, among others.
