On Friday, Vijay Sethupathi and Arya unveiled the first look poster of Ashok Selvan's next, titled Emakku Thozhil Romance. A romantic comedy, the film also stars Avanthika Mishra in the lead role.

Written and directed by debutant Balaji Kesavan, Emakku Thozhil Romance is backed by M Thirumalai of T Creations. Ashok Selvan is set to play the role of an overly romantic man who faces problems due to his nature. How he is helped by his friends and family in times of need, forms the film's crux.

Emakku Thozhil Romance also stars Urvashi, Azhagam Perumal, Bhagavathi Perumal, MS Bhaskar, Vijay Varadaraj, and Badava Gopi in key supporting roles. The film's female lead, Avanthika Mishra, has predominantly worked in Telugu films. She made her Tamil debut with Enna Solla Pogirai and also starred in D Block.

With music by Nivas K Prasanna, Emakku Thozhil Romance will also feature cinematography by Ganesh Chandra, and editing by Jerome Allen. The shooting for the rom-com has been completed, and the film is currently in the post-production stage.

A release date for Emakku Thozhil Romance is yet to be announced.
