Vanangaan audio launch to be held on this date

The glimpse released from the film hinted at a former prisoner, played by Arun Vijay, setting out to avenge the culprits who sexually assaulted his sister

The makers of the upcoming Bala film, Vanangaan, made an announcement regarding the film's audio launch on Monday.

The official release from the makers stated that the film's audio launch will be held and Bala's 25 years in films too will be celebrated during the event. It further read that the event will be held on December 18 from 5 PM at the Nandambakkam Trade Centre in Chennai.

The glimpse released from the film hinted at a former prisoner, played by Arun Vijay, setting out to avenge the culprits who sexually assaulted his sister.

Vanangaan also stars Roshni Prakash as the female lead. Samuthirakani and Mysskin play pivotal roles. The cast also includes Ridha, Chaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Dr Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brindha Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldass, and Munish Sivagurunath, among others.

The film has music by GV Prakash, cinematography by RB Gurudev, and editing by Sathish Suriya. Karthik Netha has penned the lyrics for the songs in Vanangaan, while Silva has choreographed the stunts in it. Sam CS has roped in to score the background music for the film.

It is to be noted that Suriya and Krithi Shetty were initially cast in lead roles but later exited the project due to scheduling conflicts and creative differences.

The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions along with Bala's home banner, B Studios.
