Stunt directors Anbariv have joined the sets of Amaran for the filming of the final schedule of the film starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in the lead.

The duo posted on X, previously Twitter, "💔🙏 🫡 #AchamillaiAchamillai We are proud and honoured to be filming this heroic act of valour and selflessness of #MajorMukundVaradarajan and #SepoyVikram from tomorrow for #Amaran Salute to true heroes of our nation! @Siva_Kartikeyan @Rajkumar_KP @RKFI @ikamalhaasan." (sic)

Amaran is an upcoming action film written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book India's Most Fearless. The filming commenced in May 2023.

The film will feature Sivakarthikeyan as officer Major Mukund Varadarajan who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army's Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the Ashok Chakra for his act of bravery during a counterterrorism operation while on deputation to the 44th Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Jammu and Kashmir.

Sai Pallavi plays the female lead in the film bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and co-produced by Sony Pictures. GV Prakash is teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan for the first time. Also, cinematographer CH Sai, editor Kalaivanan and stunt director Stefan Richter are on board.
