As we are nearing the end of this year, if we put up a list of the best Tamil films of 2023, Chithha will undoubtedly be on top of it. Actor Nayanthara, who caught the film quite late on OTT, feels the same. 

Sharing the poster of Chithha on her Instagram story, she penned a small note. "Chithha, one of the best films of 2023. Siddharth, this is your best ever. Director Arunkumar, what an incredible piece of art you have created. Sending a big hug to the entire cast and crew who made this all possible for Arun and Sid." Further, she also wrote that she loved the Enakku Thaan song from the film, composed by Santhosh Narayanan. 

Directed by SU Arun Kumar, Chithha also stars Nimisha Sajayan and Anjali Nair, among others. The film is backed by Siddharth's home banner Etaki Entertainments. The film is about the relationship between an uncle and his niece, as the story takes a sour turn when a paedophile is lurking in their neighbourhood.

Meanwhile, Nayanthara was last seen in Annapoorani, which recently premiered on Netflix after its theatrical release. Coming up, she has Test with Siddharth, Madhavan and Meera Jasmine, Mannangatti Since 1960 helmed by Dude Vicky, and Thani Oruvan 2 with Jayam Ravi.
