Suriya's Jai Bhim censored with A certificate

Suriya's new film Jai Bhim has been censored with an A certificate. The film has a runtime of 164 minutes.

Jai Bhim is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 2 ahead of Deepavali. Directed by Tha Se Gnanavel, the film is said to be a story of a lawyer who fights for the land rights of tribal people.

Notably, Suriya plays the role of a lawyer for the first time in his career. Rajisha Vijayan, Manikandan, and Lijomol Jose will be seen in other prominent roles.

Suriya's 2D Entertainment is producing the film, which is set to be dubbed and released in all South Indian languages.

The film has music by Sean Roldan, cinematography by SR Kadhir, and editing by Philomin Raj.
