We had previously reported that Nandita Swetha is working on a film titled IPC 376, where she plays the role of a cop. It's now known that the shooting for the Tamil - Telugu bilingual has been wrapped up.

Said to be an action horror film, IPC 376 will have four elaborately-staged action sequences. A statement from the makers states that Nandita has worked hard for these sequences, and has mostly refrained from using stunt-doubles for these scenes. The title, IPC 376 - the official criminal code for punishment for rape, suggests that the film will deal with the pressing issue of sexual offenses.

Directed by debutant Ramkumar Subbaraman, the film is produced by S Prabhakar's banner Power King Studio.
