SP Balasubrahmanyam is stable, continues to be on ventilator

Veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) yesterday after his health deteriorated, is stable now. SPB got admitted to MGM Healthcare in Chennai in the first week of this month after testing positive for coronavirus.

A statement released by the hospital read, “Thiru SP Balasubrahmanyam continues to be on life support in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He remains stable and the doctors are closely monitoring his clinical parameters.”

SPB’s son SP Charan said his father is responding well to the treatment, "Appa is doing good. He is slowly showing signs of recovery. The doctors are very happy with the progress and we are confident that he will be back to normal soon. In due course of time, he will be out of this crisis."
