We had earlier reported that actor Ravi Teja is teaming up with his Don Seenu and Balupu director Gopichand Malineni for a cop thriller and the film will most-likely be titled Krack. The first look poster of the film which was released today confirmed the title. The poster features the actor sporting a beard and a twirled moustache.

During his last interaction with Cinema Express, Gopichand has categorically stated that the film is neither inspired from nor a remake of any other film. "My film is loosely based on real events that happened a few years ago. The story follows the life of a ruthless yet fierce police officer and presents Ravi Teja in a new avatar," he said.

Shruti Haasan has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Ravi Teja, while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Samuthirakani will be seen in crucial roles. SS Thaman is composing the music and Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues of the film.

The shooting began today and the makers are planning to release Krack in summer.
