With the shoot of Dhruv Vikram-starrer Adithya Varma, the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy, recently wrapped up, rumours were rife that the actor has signed his second film to be directed by Vijay, who has made two films Deiva Thirumagal and Thaandavam with his father, Vikram.

Now, a source close to the actor has refuted the rumours saying that Dhruv has not yet signed his second film, and is in the process of reading scripts for the same.

Earlier, director Bala's completed version of the Arjun Reddy remake, titled Varmaa, which was initially scheduled for release in March, was scrapped at the last moment, after the film's production house, E4 Entertainment, announced that they were not happy with the finished product. They went on to shoot a new version from scratch with an almost completely new crew, retaining only the lead, Dhruv, and Arjun Reddy-music director, Radhan. The new team included October-fame Banita Sandhu as the female lead, actor Priya Anand, and cinematographer Ravi K Chandra.

Director Vijay, meanwhile, is gearing up to start directing Kangana Ranaut on the Jayalalitha biopic, Thalaivi, in the next few weeks.
