The shooting for Vijay’s upcoming biggie, Sarkar, was wrapped up today. While Vijay had finished his portions a couple of days earlier, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar completed hers earlier today.

She took to Twitter to post a picture of herself with the crew

She also tweeted, “That’s a schedule wrap for the amazing Sarkar. Thank you AR Murugadoss sir and Sun Pictures for this amazing opportunity. It was my dream to work with our Thalapathy Vijay sir. I can’t wait for Diwali. Pattasa ready pannunga!” 

Produced by Sun Pictures, Sarkar will see AR Murugadoss collaborate with Vijay for the third time after Thuppakki and Kaththi. Apart from Vijay and Varalakshmi, the film will also star Keerthy Suresh. Radha Ravi and Yogi Babu. The film is scheduled for a Diwali release with the album to be unveiled on October 2.
