Hansika and Arjun Reddy-fame Shalini Pandey will both be part of the upcoming NTR biopic, directed by Krish. While the latter will essay the role of Sowcar Janaki, Hansika will play actor Jayaprada in the biopic which is to be released in two parts as NTR-1 Kathanayakudu and NTR-2 Mahanayakudu. 

Sources close to the project tell us that the Arjun Reddy actor has already begun shooting for the project and will wrap up her portions today. A special set had been constructed at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad for the shoot, following which the crew will head to local theatres to re-create the period look. Hansika, on the other hand, is expected to join the sets soon.

RX 100-fame Payal Rajput is said to be part of the project as well, playing Jayasudha. The NTR biopic, also starring Balakrishna, Rana Daggubati, and Rakul Preet, will have music by MM Keeravani. The film is expected to hit the screens for Sankaranti.
