Cameron Diaz has remained off the limelight for quite some time. Her last film, Annie, came out in 2014, and she hasn't had any releases since.

Despite having a successful career, the actor suddenly stopping acting and she also seems to have no projects in the pipeline.

It was widely speculated on Monday that the actor had quit acting going by a statement made by her The Sweetest Thing co-star Selma Blair. The actor reportedly said, "I had lunch with Cameron the other day. We were reminiscing about The Sweetest Thing. I would have liked to do a sequel but Cameron's retired from acting. She's like, 'I'm done'. I mean, she doesn't need to make any more films. She has a pretty great life. I don't know what it would take to bring her back. She's happy."

This statement created quite a buzz internationally, and now Selma Blair has denied the news stating that her words were taken out of context. She clarified her statement with a sarcastic tweet, saying, "Cameron Diaz is not retiring from anything."
