Actor Sumanth has started to experiment a bit now. The actor who was part of several commercial potboilers has been trying out different genres with his recent outings Naruda Donoruda and Malli Raava.

After signing in on Subramaniapuram, a mystery-thriller, the actor is now gearing up to test waters with his upcoming film Idam Jagath. Touted to be an intense thriller, the film’s first look was unveiled by the makers yesterday.

The poster shows Sumanth filming a dead body using a camcorder. “Sumanth plays a photojournalist and his role has negative shades. The film's shooting  has been wrapped up and it is likely to be released in September,” says a source.

Directed by Anil Srikantam, the film also stars Anju Kurian in the lead.
