Newcomer Srinivas Reddy, who earlier worked as a co-director for films like Drishyam, Gopala Gopala and Dictator, is making his directorial debut with a slick actioner starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas in the lead. The untitled film will be launched on February 22 at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad.

“Srinivas Reddy is an alumnus of Ramanaidu Film School. He has readied an exciting script that shows Sreenivas in a role akin to James Bond. The film has interesting chases and spine-chilling action sequences. The actor will go in for a physical transformation for his role and will look fitter than ever,” says a source.

To be produced by Naveen Sontineni under Vamsadhara Creations, the film has music by SS Thaman and cinematography by Chota K Naidu. Meanwhile, another film of Sreenivas’s, Saakshyam, being directed by Sriwass, is in its last leg of the shoot and is scheduled for release on May 11.
