The official teaser of Mandaadi has been released by the makers. The film, which, stars Soori in the lead, is set to release in theatres on September 4.
The film is written and directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, who made his debut as a director with Selfie. The upcoming film is based on a boat race competition native to Tamil Nadu's coastal community. Elred Kumar will produce the upcoming film under his RS Infotainment banner.
The cast of the film includes Suhas, Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Mithun Jai Sankar, Ravindra Vijay, Bala Saravanan, Stun Siva and others.
GV Prakash Kumar composes music for the film, which features lyrics by Pa Vijay, Jayashree Mathimaran, Vaaheesan Rasaiya. The crew of the film includes cinematographer SR Kathir, editor Pradeep E Ragav, production designer DRK Kiran, with action choreographers Peter Hein, Dilip Subbarayan and Mahesh Mathew.
Elred Kumar have also written for the film along with R Mohanavasanthan and Thiral Sankar.
