Diganth finds a brilliant technician in Senna Hegde

A Sharadhaa

Looks like, Diganth prefers to maintain silence and  let his work do the talking. The Chowka actor has recently completed shooting for the film Fortuner, directed by J Manjunath, and has also wrapped up his portions for Senna Hegde’s directorial Katheyondu Shuruvaagide, only one song of which remains to be shot.

Showering director Senna Hegde with compliments, Diganth says, “Senna Hegde is brilliant and technically sound. This is the first time I've done sync sound, which itself was a great experience. The director had clear ideas about what he wanted from his actors, and for the movie.”

Katheyondu Shuruvaagide is a romantic entertainer, written and directed by Senna Hegde. The film is jointly produced by Rakshit Shetty and Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah. Pooja Devariya plays the female lead, while Ashwin Rao Pallakki and Shreya Anchan are also part of the cast.

Diganth was personally impressed by Senna’s debut docudrama 0-41*, and says it is a must watch. “Though he started off as a Malayalam director, he has this love for the Kannada language. I also found him very professional, and he became a good friend too. So I enjoyed working with him, and hope to do more films with him in future.”

The actor, who is currently at his hometown to attend a family wedding, is also in talks with director Arasu Anthare for what will most likely be his next project. “I am in discussions, and if everything goes as per plan, we will start shooting from March,” he says.

He is now waiting for his films to release, which the actor says might take a while. “Election and cricket have pushed back the release of some films. I'm hoping that both my films be released later this year, after we vote and the cricket fever dies down,” he says.
