The trailer of Rajeev Ravi's much-awaited film Kuttavum Shikshayum was released earlier today.

The trailer begins with an intriguing investigation sequence where a Hindi-speaking cop is seen drilling a suspect about a theft case in Kerala. The film is based on a jewellery robbery that occurred in Kasargod in 2015. We see glimpses of the investigation, which takes a team from the Kerala police force to a notorious village in North India where they risk their lives to arrest the culprits. From the trailer, the film promises to be a gripping police procedural.

Kuttavum Shikshayum stars Asif Ali as Circle Inspector Sajan Philip, who heads the investigation. Sunny Wayne, Sharaf U Dheen, Alencier Ley Lopez and Senthil Krishna play other prominent roles.

The film is scripted jointly by journalist Sreejith Divakaran and Sibi Thomas, a policeman who was the investigating officer in the real case. The film has cinematography by Suresh Rajan and editing by B Ajithkumar. Kuttavum Shikshayum is produced by Arun Kumar VR of Film Roll Productions.

Though there are speculations about a direct OTT release, the makers are yet to officially announce it.
