Earlier, we reported about writer-director Krishand joining forces with Ajith Vinayaka Films for a film titled Masthishka Maranam (A Frankenbiting of Simon's Memories). The latest from the project is that it has entered post production. Krishand took to his Instagram Stories to make the announcement by sharing the film's recently released first-look poster. The film stars Vishnu Agasthya, Rajisha Vijayan, Divya Prabha, Suresh Krishna, Jagadish, Rahul Rajagopal, and Ann Saleem. The cast also includes Nandu, Lokah writer Santhy Balachandran, Shambu, Manoj Kana, Zhins Shan, Sreenath Babu, Jain Andrews, Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju, and Anoop Mohandas.

Masthishka Maranam is produced by Vinayaka Ajith under his namesake banner in association with Krishand Films. Earlier this year, Ajith Vinayaka Films announced the project with posters featuring the cast sporting funky-looking gadgets. It is worth noting that Ajith Vinayaka Films and Krishand Films have also produced the recent fantasy adventure Gaganachari, which features an alien in the main role and has elements of science-fiction and comedy. The makers describe Masthishka Maranam as a mind-bending comedy thriller that centres around a grieving father who gets into a virtual reality (VR) memory game to connect back together with his lost child.

Fresh from the rave reviews for the SonyLIV series The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang, Krishand has also handled the art direction work for the film alongside Alvin Joseph. The film's technical team also includes cinematographer Prayag Mukundan and composer Varkey.
