Basil Joseph to join hands with debut director Jothish Shankar

His new movie marks the directorial debut of Jothish Shankar, the production designer behind such hit films as Kumbalangi Nights and Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25

Director Basil Joseph, best known for Godha and Minnal Murali, has been busy playing lead roles in various Malayalam films since the release of his superhero movie starring Tovino Thomas. His new movie marks the directorial debut of Jothish Shankar, the production designer behind such hit films as Kumbalangi Nights and Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25. The film is scripted by Minnal Murali fame Justin Mathew and novelist GR Indugopan.

The film also marks the reunion of Justin and Basil, who earlier collaborated on the Tovino-starrer. Filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan, known for thrillers like Take Off and C U Soon, is editing the movie. The film's technical department also includes Justin Varghese in the capacity of music director and Sanu John Varughese as cinematographer.

Basil Joseph, who was last seen in Falimy, will next be seen in Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Varshangalkku Shesham and Nunakuzhi.
