When renowned poet Da Ra Bendre wrote Naaku Tanti, he spoke of the four strings of life: body, life-force, mind, and the conscious self. That title now makes its way into Kannada cinema, with production house Suram Movies wrapping up shoot for Naaku Tanti. Bypassing a conventional single-track storyline, the multi-starrer is structured as an anthology that brings together four popular female actors and four distinct directors.
The film stars Kushee Ravi, Roshini Prakash, Sangeetha Bhat, and Sindhu Sreenivasa Murthy—actors widely known for taking on strong, realistic roles over regular commercial tropes. In Naaku Tanti, each actor leads a separate segment helmed by filmmakers Goutham Anvitt, Mahesh Raj, Shashi Kumar V, and Preetham Shivakumar, weaving four individual narrative styles into one connected experience.
Produced by Jayaram Devasamudra under Suram Movies, known for content-driven titles like Nidradevi Next Door, LSD, Nee Nange Allava, and Ugrayudham, the project marks a joint collaboration with debutant producers Yogesh Basavegowda (DKS Productions) and Nambooru Sai (Sai Bindu Production). With music composed by Sumedh K of Su From So fame, Naaku Tanti has officially moved into post-production and is gearing up for a theatrical release soon.
