E4 Entertainment, led by Mukesh Mehta and C.V. Sarathi, has acquired the Kerala distribution rights for KVN Productions’ Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The company, known for distributing films like Pushpa 2, Animal, Leo, and Avatar, will release the movie across 350 screens in the state on March 19, 2026.
This collaboration with KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations comes as Yash continues to gain significant attention in Kerala. KGF 2 still holds the record for the highest-grossing non-Malayalam release in the region. Early buzz among youth and mainstream audiences suggests that the Kerala rollout is thoughtfully planned to reach both multiplex and single-screen viewers.
Mukesh Mehta spoke about the partnership. “We are glad to work with KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations on the Kerala release of Toxic. It is a film with a unique approach, and we want audiences here to fully experience it on the big screen. Handling the Kerala release of a film of this scale is a responsibility we take seriously, and we look forward to working closely with the team to ensure it reaches as many viewers as possible.”
Distribution across India has been carefully planned. In North India, Anil Thadani’s AA Films will handle the film, while Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC), led by Dil Raju, will manage the release in the Telugu states. For director Geetu Mohandas, the film marks a return to Kerala, allowing her to bring her international experience back to her home audience.
On her creative journey with the film, Geetu Mohandas said, "Working on Toxic has been a journey of reconnecting with my roots while exploring a story meant for audiences everywhere. Kerala has always been special to me, and I wanted to make sure this film has both the scale of a pan-Indian release and the warmth of homegrown storytelling.”
Shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, Toxic is co-written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas. It is produced by Yash and Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
With distribution now confirmed, audiences in Kerala are set to enjoy a large-scale theatrical release when the film arrives this March.
