After stirring up laughter and kitchen chaos in its debut season, Kwatle Kitchen is returning with a revamped second edition and a fresh mix of faces. The reality cooking show is set for a grand launch on June 6 and 7 at 9 pm on Colors Kannada.

This season’s biggest talking point is actor Meghana Raj Sarja joining the judging panel. Replacing veteran actor Shruti, Meghana will judge alongside Mad Chef-fame Kaushik Shankar. While she continues to stay active in cinema, the actor’s television outing is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the show.

Kwatle Kitchen carved a niche for itself with its unusual format, where contestants are pushed to create tasty dishes while enduring comic distractions and unexpected “kwatle” moments inside the kitchen. The first season, won by Mutant Raghu, earned a loyal fan following for blending cooking with chaos.

The hosting lineup too has undergone a change. With Kuri Prathap busy with Jodi No 1 and Anupama Gowda reportedly stepping away due to health reasons, Bhagyalakshmi actor Sushma K Rao has taken over anchoring duties after recently hosting the Gicchi Giligili Juniors finale.

The contestant roster features Megha of Nandagokula, Kavya Shree Gowda, Bigg Boss 12 contestant Rakshita Shetty, actor Suraj Singh and director Om Prakash Rao, while Nawaz, Priyanka, Bhavish and Karibasappa promise the trademark mischief.

Adding extra sparkle to the launch episode is Bigg Boss winner Hanumantha as special guest.
