Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle is continuing to knock every record in the book in its historic run in the global box office. It has currently become the only Japanese film to earn over $600 million worldwide, with the revenue only expected to soar further. In Japan, the film has grossed $235.7 million, with North America bringing in $115.8 million. Beyond these regions, international markets have added another $255 million, taking the worldwide total to comfortably above $600 million. With these numbers, the film is expected to secure a release in China as well.

The latest film is directed by Haruo Sotozaki and produced by Ufotable, and written by the studio's staff members. It is a direct sequel to the fourth season of the anime television series as well as its fourth, fifth, and sixth film adaptations, following Mugen Train (2020) and compilation films To the Swordsmith Village (2023) and To the Hashira Training (2024). It was released on September 12 to positive reviews two months after its premiere in Japan, after beating the record of the highest-grossing film in the country.

Infinity Castle had also climbed to the second spot among the highest-grossing animated films in India, surpassing the collections of Incredibles 2Frozen 2, and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The only film ahead of it is the recent sensation Mahavatar Narsimha, which crossed Rs 200 crore at the Indian box office. Since its debut in September 12, the film has consistently performed well in the country, earning over Rs 66.18 crore.

Our CE review of the film read, "The tesseract-like structure of the Infinity castle, a sprawling design marvel that extends into the infinite void in all directions, lends itself to some of the most creative and breathtaking visuals put to screen, anime or otherwise. Demon Slayer franchise’s signature fight animation and choreography are stretched to their glorious extent."

The cast of the film features voices by Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kitō, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Hiro Shimono, Takahiro Sakurai, and Akira Ishida.
