We had earlier reported about Neetu Kapoor making her on-screen comeback with Daadi Ki Shaadi, the upcoming relationship comedy with Kapil Sharma and Sadia Khateeb in the lead. The film also stars veteran Tamil actor Sarath Kumar, who plays Neetu’s partner in the film. The film promises to tell a story about second chances in life, especially when it comes to love. On Tuesday, the makers unveiled a new motion poster that further plays on the film’s central premise.
In the poster, Neetu Kapoor is seen holding hands with her alleged groom, Sarath Kumar, while Kapil Sharma is seen sharing a playful gaze with Sadia Khateeb. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, along with the rest of the ensemble, also features prominently, hinting at the chaos and drama that ensues once the families come to learn of the relationship between Neetu and Sarath’s characters.
The official trailer of the film was released a few weeks ago. Besides exploring second chances, Daadi Ki Shaadi also celebrates family in all its forms — the quirks, the chaos, the secrets, and the unconditional love that binds it all together.
Produced by Rtake Studios, BeingU Studios, and Shimla Talkies, the film is written and directed by Ashish R Mohan. Its music is released by Warner Music India. Daadi Ki Shaadi will release in cinemas on May 8, 2026.
