Besides releasing the much-awaited trailer of their film, Dhurandhar 2 also shared a surprise update for all the fans. Slated for worldwide release on March 19, the film will also have paid preview shows beginning on March 18 evening across the country.

Dhurandhar 2 makers shared the update at the end of their trailer, which promises yet another stylish and violent action-saga, this time promising to capture the journey of Jaskirat, before he became Hamza, the king of Lyari underworld. A few days ago, the makers of Toxic had announced their decision to postpone their film’s release, hence giving Dhurandhar: The Revenge a much bigger chance for a long run at the box office.

The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.  While most of the lead cast members — like Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Sara Arjun, will reprise their roles from the first part, which released in December last year, Dhurandhar 2 also has reportedly new entrants to the cast like Yami Gautam.

In the technical team, the film has cinematographer Vikash Nowlakha, editor Shivkumar V Panicker and costume designer Smriti Chauhan. Shivkumar is also credited for additional screenplay, alongwith Ojas Gautam. Shashwat Sachdev, who created a sensation with his soundtrack for Dhurandar, returns as the music composer for the sequel. The action choreography is by Aejaz Gulab, Sea Young Oh, Yannick Ben, and Ramazan Bulut.
