Actor Jyotika often stands by Suriya's films amidst criticism or praise. When Kanguva faced flak for its loudness and other aspects, for example, she hit back at the critics. Recently, she praised Suriya's performance in Karuppu, calling it brilliant, and underscored the rarity of "storytelling infused with heroic moments" in the film. Now, it is his turn to return the compliment to Jyotika.

Earlier this Wednesday, Suriya took to his Instagram and praised the cast and the director behind the film System. "Late post but have to say this... System was such an engaging watch," the actor wrote. He added, "Kudos to Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and team, Harman Baweja for creating this film with its intense performances & layers," the actor wrote.

The actor also praised Sonakshi Sinha and Jyotika's performances in the lead roles of the film, directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Referring to Sonakshi, he wrote, "You were so powerful as Neha. Loved it!"

On the other hand, he tagged Jyotika and wrote, "Watched you disappear completely into Sarika. The whole world sees what I've always known... that your silence speaks louder than words. So proud of you pondatti (wife)."

The actor ended his post by congratulating the team behind System for "the incredible numbers the film is seeing on Prime Video."

A legal drama, System tells the story of a lawyer (Jyotika) who teams up with a courtroom stenographer (Sonakshi) and fights a case with much complexity. Written by Harman Baweja, Arun Sukumar, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Tasneem Lokhandwala, and Akshat Ghidial, the film also stars Lagaan filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker in an important role.

Recently, Prime Video called it the number one film on the streaming platform globally. In terms of reviews, meanwhile, the film has received mixed feedback from critics.
