Earlier this Friday, Jyotika shared a sneak-peek into her recent spiritual sojourn following the release of her film System on Prime Video. Taking to Instagram, the actor shared the final draft of her film's screenplay and two photographs featuring her with Suriya and director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. "I know it's her," the actor wrote, seemingly attributing the success of the film to a Goddess.
The actor added, "Started System with Kamakhya Devi and completed the journey today with Mahalakshmi for blessing the film with the success it deserves. May the Devi Maa Shakthi always empower us." In one of the two pictures, Suriya can be seen taking a selfie with Jyotika in front of the Maa Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati. It appears to be an old picture taken at the start of the film's shoot.
The other picture features the actor with System director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari at a Mahalakshmi temple. The post came a day after Jyotika shared a System poster with a piece of text, claiming that it is the number one film on the streaming platform, Prime Video. "The verdict is in and it's a win for truth," the caption for the recent post read.
Also starring Sonakshi Sinha and Ashutosh Gowariker, System follows a privileged prosecutor who forms an unlikely alliance with a sharp court stenographer and deals with institutional bias while uncovering buried injustices. In our review, Kartik Bhardwaj wrote, "The film has a geeky, technical lens towards the cases which makes for a more enjoyable experience. It’s in the minute details where System actually scores."
Beyond System, Jyotika has also expressed her delight at the overwhelming reception for Suriya's recent film Karuppu.
