Actor-director RJ Balaji met with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, on Tuesday. The director, who visited the TN CM along with his wife Divya, shared some photos and penned a note.
Taking to his X handle, RJ Balaji wrote, "With the man who started it all for Karuppu!!! Wow…! Feels unreal to meet him now as the honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu !!! Same love, warmth, kindness and calmness…!!! Thank you for everything dearest Vijay sir."
RJ Balaji's meeting with Vijay is fresh off of the success of Karuppu. The action drama which was headlined by Suriya, featured the actor as the titular deity, who seeks to deliver justice, in a judicial system riddled by corruption.
Also starring Trisha and RJ Balaji, the cast of Karuppu includes Indrans, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maya Ravi, Supreeth Reddy, Natty Natraj, among others.
Sai Abhyankkar has composed music for the film, making it his sophomore Tamil feature release, after the Pradeep Ranganathan-starrer Dude (2025).
