The teaser for the upcoming crime drama Ikroop, has been unveiled by the makers, today. The upcoming film, which stars Mithila Palkar in the lead, is set to premiere on Zee 5.
The teaser, which features a voiceover by Mithila as the titular character, is a montage of scenes which hints at the life of the poet being changed after a kidnapping and assault. The teaser also hints at the fallout of the incident impacting Ikroop's family.
The cast of the film also includes Gauahar Khan, Taha Shah Badussha, Swanand Kirkire, and Kumud Mishra, among others.
Ikroop marks the debut of Akram Khan. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpane under the Jio Studios banner, which was behind the Dhurandhar films. Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Sultan (2016)-fame Ali Abbas Zafar are also producing the film.
Mithila was recently seen in Vir Das' directorial debut Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, and in the Priyadarshan-Akshay Kumar flick, Bhooth Bangla.
